What the brand says
Contains a selection of bio-active vitamins and minerals, powerful antioxidants, and efficient anti-ageing ingredients, all together in one tablet Bio-active form to bypass genetic mutations: Frontline Defence contains vitamins and minerals in the form that they are most bio-active, thus bypassing genetic flaws, whilst also providing a sufficient supply of anti-oxidants to support the body´s own natural detox pathway. Genetic mutation (MTHFR), is a condition that affects 40% of the world population, where the extreme important “folic acid” (Vitamin B9), crucial for the “Methylation cycle” cannot be metabolized. This can be the start of developing hearth disease or cancer, and a correct intake of bio-available Methylfolate is also crucial during early pregnancy to reduce the risk of birth defects of the brain and spine. Furthermore, the B-complex vitamins, in the form they are obtained from food, are mostly inactive and cannot yet be used by the body. They need to be converted into a bio-active form through enzymatic transformation before they become available for the Methylation cycle. For B9: we use L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate instead of folic acid, for B12: we use Methylcobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin or hydroxycobalamin, for B6: we use Pyridoxal-5-phosphate instead of Pyridoxine-HCl., for B2: we use Riboflavin-5-phosphate instead of normal riboflavin, for vitamin A: we use Retinyl acetate instead of Retinyl palmitate or Beta-carotene, for Zinc: we use Zinc picolinate instead of zinc sulphate
