Zinc picolinate is the form that the body absorbs the best. Zinc absorption is also helped by Zinc ionophores. Quercetin and EGCG have Zinc ionophore properties and these are safe and well tolerated. Quercetin is a plant flavonoid, and EGCG is a component of green tea. Bromelain helps with Quercetin absorption. Vitamins C & D3 support the immune system. L-Cysteine reduces oxidative stress and helps support the respiratory system. Bio-availability of cysteine from L-cysteine has been found to be higher than from N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC). Zinc, Quercetin and EGCG also have anti-aging properties. BioPerine is present to enhance the bio-availability of the ingredients. Please know that Quercetin is a bitter tasting ingredient and that L-Cysteine is a sulphur based amino acid which may have a pungent taste or smell.
