How does Lactrase work? The enzyme lactase contained in Lactrase splits the lactose and thus takes over the function of the body's own lactase, which is lacking in lactose intolerance. Lactrase makes it possible to enjoy milk and milk products without any symptoms. This also ensures that the body is supplied with the essential nutrients, minerals and vitamins contained in milk. These include in particular protein, calcium, vitamin A and vitamin D. Where does the lactase contained in Lactrase come from? The lactase enzyme contained in Lactrase is not of animal origin. It is produced using the microorganism Aspergillus oryzae, which has been used to produce food enzymes for decades. How is Lactrase used?
