Di Fu Zi, Kochia (Kochia Scoparia) is a grassy annual shrub plant that has an upright stem branched and densely covered with leaves. The shape of the bushes is elongated-oval or pyramidal, the height ranges from 75 cm to 1-2 m. The leaves of Kochia are whole, narrow-lanceolate, thin, sharp, and small. The leaves of the young plants are dark green and light green; closer to autumn they become yellow, orange, pink or raspberry. The fruit is a single-seeded nut. Kochia Scoparia seeds are small. The plant takes its form in early June.
