What is BioBran? BioBran is the manufacturer’s brand name for a nutritional supplement that contains the active ingredient; MGN-3 Arabinoxylan Compound (patented & manufactured exclusively by the Daiwa Pharmaceutical Co. of Japan since 1990). This product is generically known as MGN-3 Arabinoxylan Compound or MGN-3 (named after the initials of its three developers) and is now available in the U.S. If your looking for MGN-3, you'll find it in BioBran! Is AHCC Better than BioBran? AHCC is a good (2nd generation) immunomodulator. Its original research was performed by excellent scientists; who then went on to develop MGN-3 (3rd generation immunomodulator). AHCC also costs less to use, but it is less effective than BioBran MGN-3 as shown on the chart below. Even at increased dosages, it cannot match, or even come close to the immunomodulating power of BioBran MGN-3.
