The King Trumpet Mushroom (Pleurotus eryngii) is a strain that originates from Japan and produces large flushes of meaty and delicious mushrooms that are earthy, aromatic, and savory. It is more tolerant of warm temperatures, although it still fruits best in cooler weather. Yield averages are .75-1.5 lb first flush off of 5 lb supplemented sawdust blocks. Each sterile syringe contains a sub-strain designed to maximize yield while minimizing incubation time. Plus, it comes with a sterile hypodermic needle for easy transfer of samples between mediums.
