Each bag contains 4 oz of organic or wildcrafted burdock root, cut and sifted, grown and harvested in Poland. It is Arctium lappa, known as bardana in Spanish and gobo in Japanese. One ingredient, nothing else in the bag. TASTE: earthy and lightly sweet, not bitter. People who find dandelion root too sharp usually get on with burdock. HOW TO BREW: add 1 to 2 teaspoons of cut burdock root to 8 fl oz of boiling water. Cover and steep for 5 to 10 minutes, then strain. Drink it hot, or chill it for iced burdock tea.
