Mg-Orotate 500 provides 500 mg of magnesium in the form of Magnesium Orotate. Orotic acid and its salts have shown significant improvement in cardiac function in conditions involving ischemiareperfusion (I/R) injury. Furthermore, when given at the start of reperfusion following ischemia in animals, it was observed to significantly maintain left ventricle (LV) function and also decrease infarct size.
